James Brown, BSc(Hons), MSc is a Senior Research Assistant in Human Factors Engineering within the Transportation Research Group of the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, University of Southampton.

He’s a member of the HI:DAV project team, working with Jaguar Land Rover and partnered with Cambridge University to carry out research into and develop solutions relating to vehicle interfaces.

He trained as a Software Engineer and is responsible for the development of hardware and software systems for the Southampton University Driving Simulator (SUDS).

James has a passion for motorsport and is studying a PhD specifically in this area of research.
